Day 5

Got up at 5:30 towhead out early for the Swap Meet and then on up to Makawao again to the Annual Seabury Craft Fair just up the hill from the Makawao town site.

Very hot, very humid, very crowded. It was wall to wall people and we all felt really closed in and claustrophobic. I had to pull myself away from the crowds several times just to breathe it was so hot. After we left and headed back down the hill into Makawao again, we noticed that the Volcano Spice stoner dudes shop was open! Yay! Picked up some Hawaiian Sea Salt and headed back out. Kara got a bit dehydrated and was not doing to well. Nancy and I gave her our water bottles so she could get some liquid back into her. We headed back to the condo so she could lay down and take it easy for a bit.

We needed to do a bit of laundry and since the laundry room is right next to the pool, it was the perfect excuse to go for a swim.

Later we headed over to Cafe O’Lei for dinner again. Nancy had the same Macadamia Nut Crusted Breast of Chicken with rice and I tried the Top Sirloin this time. Very very Yummy! Kara had a soup and salad combo. Nancy and Kara had some Lilikoi cheesecake for desert and it was back to the condo for the evening. A glass of scotch for myself and some wine for Nancy and Kara and it was a nice quiet Saturday night.
