Day 13

Our last full day in Maui started with an early breakfast as usual and out to Wailea Beach. We spent about 2 hours in and out of the water. We didn’t bring much with us so we were both able to go out in the water. It was fantastic, just floating in the warm calm waters,  I got swept ashore after relaxing too long and letting myself come in with the tide…ah well. This truly is paradise for both Nancy and I.

We got back to the condo and got cleaned up to head up west to Lahania for the last bit of gift buying and had lunch at Captain Jack’s which was excellent, then headed back out to Ka’anapali again for some last gift buying. Nancy found a jewelry shop that had a collection from an artist named Steven Douglas, her wish come true!

Sadly I am not a jewellery maker..

We headed back down to Kihei and Wailea for our last full evening in Maui. Barbecued some steaks on the lanai, some drinks and some slack key guitar in the background set the tone for our last dinner on the isle.
