Morning

Up at 6:00 again.  Toast and fresh papaya on the lanai.  I can’t express enough just how relaxing it is to start the day off bright and early, on the lanai.  It’s doing us so much good.

It’s departure day for Richard and Jack, so they got packed and Steve and I just lazed around. A lazy day is good!!! We’ve really enjoyed spending time with the guys and it’s good for Steve and his cousin to get to know each other better.  I’m glad they came.  Sure wish Trish could have come with them!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Afternoon

Dropped the guys off at the airport and then headed along the Hana Highway to Paia.  Both of us were a bit disappointed with Paia.  It had some cool shops and was definitely a hippie town, but the shops were very expensive and it was very difficult to find a public potty!!!    

Paia:

Once we’d finished walking around Paia, we headed along the same highway to Ho’okipa Beach to watch the surfers and windsurfers.  VERY cool!!!!  We were up at the overlook and there were quite a few people doing the same thing – watching!

Another Happy Hour

We went from Ho’okipa Beach, back to Wailea to drop the car off at the condo.  Then walked to our favourite Happy Hour spot – Cheeseburgers!!  Enjoyed a couple of drinks:

Sunset

After drinks, we wandered down to Ulua Beach for the sunset. Beautiful!!!
