A Relaxing Day

Up at 6:00.  My back is aching pretty bad today.  Breakfast on the lanai – dragon fruit and biscuits. Took some painkillers, which helped a lot!

Beach time!  Tried Ulua Beach, but the parking lot was full, so we went south to Wailea Beach.  Settled ourselves in the hot powdery sand.  It was hotter today – the water beautiful and warm.  There couldn’t possibly be a better place to relax anywhere in this world!

And then Mr. Obnoxious showed up.  And set up behind us.  He yabbered on and on and on – very loudly and constantly.  Non-stop.  We moved everything forward a bit, but that made no difference.  He was so loud.  The three people with him hardly spoke because he wouldn’t let them.  Apparently he lives here in Maui.  And the biggest eye-roller was when he was telling those poor people who were listening to him (who had apparently just met him), that at his condo, he’s known as the “pool nazi”.  His condo looks out on the pool and he actually determines when and who can go into the pool and leave.  What a loud, obnoxious jerk!!!!  Steve, Richard and I were in the water laughing about his “pool nazi” crap and another lady came by – they’d been listening to the same blow-hard go on and on and on, too!  Ugh.

We spent three hours at the beautiful Wailea Beach.  It was very hot.

Went to the Outback for dinner tonight.  It was great and had a great time.  Back to the condo where we sat out on the lanai for a couple of hours, visiting.
