Day 1 – Arrived in Maui (aka Paradise) at 3:00 p.m. (7:00 our time).  We’d been up since 3:00 a.m., so were VERY tired.  After getting our first rental car, we headed off to Wailea to the Destination Resorts offices to pick up the key….

 

 

And Then We Went to the Condo

 

… and it is AMAZING!  Wow.  It’s fabulous.  And the view from the lanai… well Amazing is the only word I can think of right now.  I can’t wait to get to see the ocean – but it’s going to have to wait until tomorrow – we’re exhausted and …. well we have to drive back to Kahului to exchange our rental car.  The brakes are grinding something fierce.  So we drove back and they gave us an uptrade to a Subaru Forester.  Awesome car!  Need.Sleep!!!
