The flight home was bumpy, lots of turbulence that just makes for a wonderful flight! Nancy can sleep right through that stuff and I just sit there freaking out every time we start to rattle a little bit.

The guy sleeping the whole way through next to me has a gas problem, good thing there is no smoking on flights these days. Oh well, some episodes of the Walking Dead in a darkened cabin is my flight back to the mainland.

We land at LAX and have to find the shuttle to take us to the other side of the airport for the flight home. It’s 4 AM and hardly anyone around. The shuttle  bus driver can’t drive straight and does not know how to use brakes. We are half way home stop wise.

Got through security and found our gate. I’m running on fumes at this point and need to take a nap on the floor for about a half hour. Got up and it’s time to board for the trip home. I’m sure I could pass for a cast member of the Waking Dead at this point. Indigestion and turbulence make for a fun ride back to Canada.

Finally back home and through customs. Kevin is there to meet us and we get all loaded up and back home. After getting most of everything unpacked and put away I plop down in front of the TV for the Packer game. It’s throwback day and they got the old ACME Packer uni’s on. I barley remember this game as I am in and out of sleep all through out it. Feels like it takes all day long for it to be played. Packers win in the end, Yay!

It’s cold and cloudy outside…welcome home I guess
