Day 8 – Crispy Critter Day

Today, we burned.  We over-worshipped the sun, and paid big time.  We spent 3 hours at Polo Beach this morning, enjoying the beautiful ocean, powdery sand and very hot sun.

After showering off the salt, we did our second favourite thing – shopped some more.  We went to the outdoor craft and farmers market in Kihei.  We spent lots of time and money in Hilo Hatties, where we picked up the last of the gifts we needed to buy, stopped at Round Table for some pizzas, then came home and rested our weary bones and slathered on lots and lots of aloe vera on our very burned skin.  Ouch!

This was a lazy day.
